EHR Adoption Support

Despite the promise of increased efficiencies and improved decision-making and reporting capabilities, electronic health record implementations often fail to realize their potential benefits. The Healthcare Human Factors Group’s EHR Adoption Support service uses in-depth user profiling, task analysis, and usability evaluation methods to evaluate EHR applications against multiple user requirements and complex workflows. This service assesses how well an application will meet user needs, match workflow and integrate with current processes. Based on these findings, recommendations will be provided on how to customize system interfaces and design training to maximize user adoption.
