Students

Students from the undergraduate level to Masters and PhD trainees are supported by the Healthcare Human Factors Group. Their academic backgrounds are diverse including: biomedical engineering, clinical engineering, computer science and psychology. The close integration of research students with HHFG staff is an important aspect of our culture and a valuable part of the student experience. Supervision is usually provided by experienced staff or co-supervision from staff with relevant appointments in other departments. Student research initiatives address many of the pressing issues facing healthcare.

We also host students at the high school, undergraduate and Masters levels who are pursuing professional development through internships or co-op placements.
